Spacious restaurant with excellent food, all-day service, and strong accessibility, conveniently located close to Line 14.
ANCO sits right by the Accor Arena, in a part of Paris that’s quieter than most central neighbourhoods but easy to reach. Being close to Bercy station on Line 14, currently the only fully accessible metro line in the city, makes a real difference, especially if you’re planning ahead rather than wandering in on impulse.
The restaurant itself is large and often full at lunch, with a mix of regulars and a business crowd. The food more than justifies the popularity. The slow-cooked lamb with a parmesan crust and roasted pumpkin (27 €) is rich and deeply satisfying, while the roasted octopus with buckwheat, pickled red cabbage and tahini Greek yoghurt (34 €) is beautifully balanced and well worth it. It isn’t cheap, but it is genuinely very good. They also serve all day, which makes it a useful option around events at the Arena.
Accessibility is a strong point. The space is generous, with wide circulation throughout. The toilet is fully accessible and comfortably sized, though the lock is a little fiddly. It’s a minor detail in an otherwise smooth setup.
ANCO is a solid, dependable choice when you want excellent food, plenty of space, and access that works, particularly if you’re arriving via Line 14.
