A welcoming Italian spot with excellent food, generous space, and thoughtfully integrated accessibility.
Zazza sits just off the Grands Boulevards and feels like a welcome pause from the rush around it. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and confidently itself, with a laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned. The room is bright and generous, and everything about the space feels designed to be enjoyed rather than squeezed into.
Accessibility is strong overall. The entrance door is manual but wide, over 90 cm, with a small ramp and a height difference of around 2 cm from the pavement. It looks more significant in photos than it is in practice. Inside, there’s plenty of room to circulate comfortably, and nothing feels cramped or awkward.
The toilet is fully accessible, with only minor issues. The soap dispenser is mounted a little too high, and the lock is a bit small and fiddly, a familiar detail in Paris restaurants, but neither is a deal-breaker.
The food is excellent and unapologetically Italian. We shared the Piccolo Il Sott’olio starter (9€), which was full of flavour and ideal for sharing. The salmon pasta (20€) was rich and well judged, and the Campagnola Rossa pizza (18€) was generous and deeply satisfying. Prices feel more than fair for the quality, which only adds to the appeal.
Zazza is an easy place to like. Great food, a genuinely relaxed vibe, and access that works without calling attention to itself. It’s one of those places you’re immediately glad to have on your list, and one we’d happily return to.
Manual door, wide (90cm+). Small ramp at the entrance with a height difference of around 2cm from the pavement.
Accessible toilet. Minor issues - the soap dispenser is mounted a little high and the lock is a little fiddly.
Very good circulation throughout the restaurant, with plenty of room between tables and no sense of crowding.
Relaxed, welcoming, and happy to help if needed.
